Blog for Miss Chobot: Catchy introduction. What do you mostly use? (equipment, apps, programs...) Explain what you like about using technology in the classroom How does it help you learn Also, you could add how you use tech at home Students should be finished all Book Club work by Friday. We have had ample time in class to complete this work. Unfinished work is to be completed as homework. The work should include 4 Google docs, each with answers for Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, and Week 4. The docs should be shared with editing permissions and submitted on Edmodo. You can ask your child to view his/her work. They should also have 3 questions answered on their small group page in Edmodo- for Week 3 and Week 4. There is no blog/biblionasium due this week. DANCE VIDEO on March Break Earlier this year, students developed a short dance routine to the song "Trip The Light", which is found on our class website.
Each student should make a recording over the break that shows them doing the dance in an interesting location. They can dance alone, with friends, family, sports teams, pets, or anyone else they can get dancing! Each student is asked to bring at least one recording of their dance to school after the break (they can make as many recordings with different backgrounds as they want). Happy dancing! Poster should include: 1) word (which will be the title) 2) part of speech (noun, verb, adjective, adverb) 3) Definition 4) An interesting, original sentence using the word 5) graphics to support your information 6) Labels (in this case your headings for each section are the labels) 7) Neat and colourful A Great Poster Is... All students have been working on a list of tasks at school. Many have completed the tasks, some are nearly complete, and some still have many tasks left to finish. Since ample time was given, this is now a homework responsibility. Each student has a list of tasks in their EDB notebook. Completed tasks have been signed by me. Completed work is either in the ePortfolio or in the EDB notebook. You can ask your child to show you what they have finished and what tasks they have left to complete. |
